I need to know because this one girl said it worked but I never tryed it so now I don't want my tamagotchi to go back to it's planet 
is it true if out don't turn off the lights

if you pause ur tama overnight the adult wont go away, though!

Your parent will go back to it's home planet regardless of wether or not the light is off, on the second night of the childs life ^_^ it's not a bad thing, it's just your tama evolving again

well, if you dont want ur tama to go away, just pause it overnight.

If you would not like your tamagotchi to go back to the planet, just pause it overnight, and it will not go back to the planet.

If you pause overnight, the parent will stay, but also the baby will not grow up.
