i've wondered that myself, dunno if ya have to click on that little button at the back of the tama.. how do you do it? plz tell us. :'D :p

go into the tips and tricks section and there are a few different topics on it :p

I'll ttell you how to debug.

you unscrew the back section of your tama. You will see a bettery and 4 little screws. Unscrew the four little screws and you will see two little circles that say in very small and hard to read print "debug" under them. Then you have to get a really sharp pencil and draw a line through the two circles. Then, press the little button on the back of your tama to reset it, and an egg will apear. It will hatch into an adult secret character, skipping the other stages. It's cool, but risky. Once you debug you can never go back to normal, and a lot of the time it doesn't owrk and if it doesn't work, bye bye goes your tama.

Yeah, you could lose your tama forever. My mom is the only one of the females in my family that can tinker around with tamas like that. You have to open up the tama, like you were going to change the battery. But you have to take the other back off too, and then use a dull graphite pencil to rub the debug circle. You have to connect the two little circles to debug it. Then you have to screw it back together COMPLETELY. My mom didn't screw the tama up completely, and the tama froze. If you don't screw it back together completely and didn't break anything, the part about the not screwed up tama, your tama will break also. Maybe this didn't make much sense to you, but if it was in person, I could tell you easily.
