I hate to break it to you, but the Tamagotchi needs this thing called a battery to work, and it has a limited amount of energy stored in it. As it is, you wasted $15 throwing it out. Good day to you and happy shopping.

Dear tamaluvbug,

if i were you,i would reach into the garbage, pull my tama out,put the batteries back in,and then download

Sincerily,

Kate

GOSH you all think i don't know that! its not the battery i just changed it like 3 weeks ago, its not the battery! :kuribotchi: *cries*

its not the battery was 6.oo its not faulty the tama is just weak and i can't see a thing
What do you mean the battery is 6.oo? Even if a battery is new, sometimes they just don't work. Get a few batteries and try each of them. If none of them work then it's the tama. Just be totally sure that it's not a battery problem before you throw out the tama. That's just a waste of money.

ok listen i put the battery into my friends tama and it worked fine but when i put it in mine the tama didn't even turn on it just was blank...

Im soooooooooooooooooooooo soreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyy if i were you id cry . great now im sad thanxs alot!!!!! :kuribotchi: :) :(

Ok that makes sence then. Sorry if it got annoying, but I didn't know that. Sometimes people just put in a faulty battery and then end up throwing the product away when it doesn't need to be.

If your warrenty was still good, you should've taken it back :kuribotchi:

Anyways, $6 for a battery?! If you go to Radioshack, or even Wal Mart, they only cost about $3.50-$4. If I were you, I would try just one more battery that you just bought, so you can make sure it's the Tama. Also, did you buy the right battery? It should be a CR2032 that you bought... One last thing, and this is more common than most people think, did you put the battery in the wrong way? I've done this before, and so have a couple of my other friends :)

Hope this stuff helps!

I would have kept it.. maybe the circuit board went wierd?

I would have considered it as a waste of $14.

i guess its ok now my dad is taking me out today to get a brand new one. maybe even a v3!!!!! i could get a v3 and another v2 i'mso happy:) but i will miss you old tama....
