my friend got a new tama online. when it got shipped to her, the batteries went out the next day!!! has this ever happened to you before?

may just be a bad battery b/c mine usually last for a little over a month.

That has happened to me twice. Either it was a fake, or it was used. If your friend got it on ebay, that is most likely the problem. If it doen't seem like a real tama, or does anything odd. I wouldn't worry about getting new batteries.

yes, The batteries they give you are normaly 4 demonstation and usually dont last long.

Yeah, that has happened to me... But it was a v1 from Target, not eBay.

EDIT: Oh and if the battery tag thing was out, it was used :D

The tamas that I've ordered online, their batteries have usually lasted no longer than a month. Online orders for tamas must have weaker batteries in them. The ones I've bought in a store, their batteries usually last about a month and a half to two and a half months.
