OMG!! My friends had to change her batteries 5 or 6 times and i got mine way before her. And i haent changed mine yet!! Is that weird??? I got mine November 1st or sooo!

You must have different generations.

The first generation of American ones used up batteries like crazy and had to be changed every 8 days or so. The new ones are much better.

I got my first new generation Tama Plus in March of last year and it worked longer than the first Gen American one by months!

That American one lasted 9 days and the Japanese one lasted over 9 months. :(

I don't know why the American ones had to be so different. :(

I'm sure it has to do with that noise the first ones made.

If you hold teh battery sucking one up to your ear, you should hear a constant beeping tone. Very annoying.

I dunno, but after you turn off the sound for a while , if you turn it back on the sound will be gone, and the battery won't drain as fast o:)

why can't they make the american ones as good as the japanese ones, japan always gets tha cooler and better stuff... :D
