hi just wanted to say that argos in the uk has a sale on tama's at the minit they are £9.99 each and u can reserve them online if u want to check local availability.
( i wasnt quite sure where to post this as i cant reply to the section with prices and locations in it, hope this is ok?)

Well i just found Toysrus.co.uk is having a sale for 8.99 (European Money) , but they only have the Yellow with Red lines coming out,(By the way i am from America i just was thinking about ordering it from there or ebay) Hope this helps.

I have two tamagotchis I got mine from; Woolworths (£12.99) and Gambleys (£12.99) but that was when they were new so they might have gone down.
Other place I know that sell in the UK are;

thats where i got mine. i reserved one but then forgot about it when i went to buy them with my sister and last niight my boyfriend decided he wanted one. lucky i still had one on reserve because by the time he got there they were sold out
