my tamagotchi was sleeping from night to now

tamagotchis sleep for a while if they are babies, toddlers, and teens. check the clock. the time might be messed up or something.

Don't reset your Tama, just switch your time to the correct A.M. or P.M. 
Make sure it says on the time screen whether it is currently A.M. or P.M. instead of using military time, where it runs from 1:00 to 24:00 without A.M. or P.M. If you don't see an A.M. or P.M. indicator on the time screem, just press A. If you are anywhere from noon to 11:59 at night, set it to P.M., if you are in the time frame of midnight to 11:59 in the morning(right before noon), set it to A.M. This will fix your problem.
