The difference between a v2 and v3 is that the v2 is the second version of a tamagotchi, and a v3 is a new, high-tech version that just came out. The v2 is cool and all, but the v3 rocks!!! I want one SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO bad!!!! 
the differences between a tamagotchi V3 to a V2 are:
- includes 6 games in total
- Over 20 new characters
- can go for a "visit" to other tamas
- items at the store vary
- can travel, expler by going on trips, and but plane tickets
- more passwords ( exsist with 8 digit numbers)
- purchase new gifts for friends
- and especially connect to tamatown.ca!!!!
