They already have one with red pixels. It's a Japanese
Tamagotchi. It's called the Akai. Besides, they have TamaTown.
I don't think they could fit color inside any pixels.

if it was in colour it would cost you a lot more to get and that knd of defeats the purpose of a cheapish toy for kiddies that teachers confiscate and kiddies end up putting in water and chucking them around etc...
