Batteries?

Why do the die so fast? I just bought this battery like 2 months ago! and they are expensive! Seven bucks! Can I get them any cheaper? Or ayleast some better ones???

Toys R Us has the cheapest batteries I've found so far. I'm in Vancouver Canada. They were about $3.49 for one (not counting tax). I got a pack of two for about $10 at Shopper's Drug Mart -- I don't really remember but I think that was with tax. $7.00 for one is too much ... unless ... Maybe you don't live in a big city?

Also I saw one today at a lumber store and they were over five dollars, but now I know how much they SHOULD cost so I won't buy them there!

This is weird. I've had my tamagotchi for about 3 months and its been dropped down the toilet and its batteries still haven't been dead.
