I bought an angelgotch on eBay... but i forgot to reset him. is it important to reset tamas before starting their life?

Accually it does matter most of the time. Once i forogt to reset a gen1 tama and it got a really bad glitch to where it was ticking minutes off every second and it ended up dying in a few hours.

As mentioned, it is rather importaint.
Kat, from www.mimitchi.com mentioned that it is also very importaint.. However, she has loads of Tamagotchis, and only four have screwed up from not doing that.
Good chance you should be fine.. But something may go wrong.
