i have one and my bf has one.
we cannot get it to use the infrared for the life of god.
do they have to be a certain age or a certain stage in their life before they can actually start making friends?

Are your Tamagotchis babies? If so, they cannot communicate. However, once they become children (shouldn't take very long...), they will be able to communicate.

thanks for the pm and also answering me. i figured out the problem. i was reading the lil manual and it says to just hit b and all for it. and you really haveta hit it twice. i was definitely getting worried since both of them are teenagers. thanks a lot i appreciate it!!!

Can anyone tell me the items that Tamagotchi's will give each other?

I know there is a rubber ball because i was given one but are they any other items?
