I was wondering I like to minipulate the time on my tamagotchi so I can buy more items at the shop on my v3. I was was wondering if it takes my tamagotchi longer to age.

Do not fear! You're not alone, I also do this same time-playing. My beloved dakoo never been affected by it. So relax......cheers!

Actually, I think this should be tested, because I think it might.

When I got my first V3, I set the time to the time it was (which was around 10-something PM). That means that around that time she should go up in age. However, after that and finding out it goes to be at 8pm normally, I moved the time back 4 hours the next day. Now, it's age seems to go up around midnight my time, not the time that it was started.

This would be a mute point though if it ages at a certain time each day other then 24 hours from when it was first hatched.

Thanx guys,my Tama is now 5 years old!(even when I did mess with the time) :3

Messing wth the time WILL stop your Tama from aging while you are setting the time. In the old Tamas people used to leave them on the time set screen because there was no pause function. BEWARE!!! If you do it a lot, your Tama's aging will be affected! My Tamawas born at 8:00 am, not it ages sometime around 4 am.

oh very true. same here

I want to keep my parent tama and I keep it on pause all the time. But the clock is 5 hours behing since I changed battery and parent and baby sleep into the afternoon. If I advance the clock and reset it to right time, will this make the parent leave sooner? can I just keep on pause at every midnight and he will never leave me?

:furawatchi: Hi, I dont know about yours- but my tama ages when i mess with the time as long as i dont put it on pause.
