Well i have done that one to many times, and i was tired of it!
So here are a few tips, on how to stop those morning accidents.
I hope they help you cause they surely helped me!
(1) set your alarm clock to when Your tama wakes up, that way you can wake up with it.
(2) Go to bed earlier, So you can wake up bright and early. To see your tama.
(3) Set your tama's time Later than it is, so it sleeps longer, and so can you!
(4) Pause your tama(note: this isn't the best way to go, your tama will evolve alot slower)
(5) Sleep woth your tama, next to you or on your dresser, close enough to your ear so when he/she beeps you will hear it.
