OMG isn't that like the Keitai? you just can't connect to phones, I SO THOUGH THEY'D DO THIS! I want to to have the gotchi points and all !!

! It's sounds like a version of the Keitai, but I think it has got less secret codes. With the keitai you can insert a special code/number. In the article it says:
"secret codes that can be unlocked by pushing a special sequence of buttons."
So that's a bit different. But I'm really curious, I wonder if it has got the same characters as the Keitai, but I guess so!

ok never mind. I think I know why it's like keitai.....
Apparently, bandai coulden;t get it to work with us mobile phones so they made a copy cat keitai as a connection version. It's just a theory I thought of though.
