What are YOUR ideas for future tamagotchis?!?

you can post ur ideas for tamagotchi here... i have some really kool ones! lol

1. tamagotchis should have a light up background when u want it (like a watch!)

2. u should be able to choose w/ a button if u want ur tama to be in pixels or real pictures, like the ones they have in icons, kinda like better graphics and 3-D

3. more kool designs and colors!

4. diff. games for different stages of life of your tamagotchi

The light thing is a great idea.The picture thing might be a bit difficult to pull off.If a Tama was more cartoonlike and less pixel-y it would take more computing power.Either it would drain batteries really fast or the unit would cost anywhere from $50-$100.

I don't really have any ideas myself.Almost all my complaints with the originals were fixed with the connections.The only thing I can think of is a means to pet the Tama.Not like praise.I mean a button or sensor that you press to show the Tama a bit of affection.Unlike praise,this would work anytime.Just a way to further interact with the tamagotchi.

I think they should put a rechargeable battery pak in it

I think they should make a like the old tamagotchis angel,ocean, etc. and make them connectable like the the connections where you would beable to connect your regular tama with a angel or and angel and a fish etc and have secret characters like if you breed a fish and angel together you get an angelfish etc i think that would be awsome.

this has became a baad prob, making me always needing to buy new tamagotchis.

1,) THE SCREEN! it should be much stronger!! my locker keys bumped agains my brand new tama & the screen is all dinted!!! it wasn't that hard either

2.)we should be able to connect tamagotchis over the internet =)

I would like to have my tama's inside my mobile phone, then I never have to take all those little eggs with me. But I would have them all in one machine.

And another advantage would be that the tama would be in colour and would light up plus it would be rechargeble. It would be all in one. A tamaphone. Maybe you would be abel to connect with your tama's then all over the world.

mimitchi-chan - i love that idea ! there should be a site that has a special connecting thingy and u connect with people!

robotkin- ur right... if it wasn't like pixels, they would be pretty expensive!

methinks that tamagotchis should be slightly lighter, plus should have MORE characters. also, methinks that they should have an option where u can take out the battery, then put it back in and be able to keep all the stats from your other tama and get a new character!

I think they should put an email feature where whenever people connect and adds friends to a list people can typ messages to each other without having to connect and a little inbox button can tell if you have mail.

tamagotchiheaven... thats a great idea! just like text messaging or email as u said! i really hope badai takes some of these ideas into consideration if anyone sends them to them!

radioactiveheat.... when u said when u put a new battery in and be able to "recover" all of ur old info.. i think ucan! just when u put a new battery in, press the middle button i think or the 1st button (i dunno lol) and then 2 options come up, download and restart, just press download!
