I win stuff on Tamatown, but I don't get the item!

I win the items off Tamatown, put in the passwords, and I see the present with the item coming out of it, but I then look in my items, and it's not there! If someone could help me, that'd be great.

When I get the code to buy something with codes off Tamatown, it does work, though. Thanks for reading!

I use to have the same problem and found out that after you enter the codes, you have to press the B button to purchase it.

The same thing happened to me.

Check all of you sovinier list. I couldnt find my items...then when I got to number 18 on my souvinier list I found them!

As everyone said, look through the whole of ur souvenir list. If still can't find the item, it might be because some souvenir such as the skateboard, teddy bear, balloon etc. dissapears every next generation.
