why does my tamagotchi fall asleep and never wakes

How long has it been asleep for? Tamas usually sleep for 10-12 hrs depending on what character, don't worry if its been asleep for 13 hrs or so, the tama wakes itself. All you have to do is check the lights are on ONCE IT'S AWAKE- only turn them on after it wakes itself up-it's no big deal. If it has been sleeping for more than 24hrs I'd just press reset and start the tama again, its probably a glitch.
