use a pencil and press the reset button on the back of your tamagotchi and click download on the screen

i agree, because when i went to a mall, i took out my tam to check on it and it was blank, i thought it might be because it was in my jacket pocket and i banged it against a wall by accident. when i got home, i just reseted it and downloaded and it was fine

yep. reseting it should work. my screen went blank once too, and i reseted it. then i got it a new battery just in case, and then it was fine.

sorry 2 kinda be mean but reset and doneload, duh. it happened 2 me when i dropped mine. half the screen turned black.

If your Tama freezes there's only 1 choice. You have to reset it by pressing the mini button on the back. Then when the egg appears press B and select DOWNLOAD. If it doesn't work then maybe it either needs new batteries or something's wrong with it. BUT TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK CUZ IT WILL MAYBE DELETE EVERYTHING YOU HAD AN START ON A NEW GENERATION. BUT TRUST ME THAT'S THE ONLY CHOICE.
