Is it a V3? Which one do you have and which one does your son have?

If the battery is Sony, buy a new battery. It's Energizer. I use Energizer and my Tama lasts for 2 to 3 MONTHS!

:D Dots: It's true.
:furawatchi: Sky: What are we talking about?
:) Happy: My gosh Sky. You're weird.
<_< Sky: Hm?
:) Dots: Argh! Sky, never mind that. We're talking about batteries. Read the post. DUH!
 Sky: What?
;) Happy: *slaps paw on forehead* forget it!

i don't know what battery came with the tama but it lasted 3 days. since i have bought 3 wal mart brand batteries and have had to change out every 1 to 2 days. my son is still using his factory battery. i thought it might be because i play a lot of games but i don't play anymore than my son does.

Really? On the tamagotchi version 3 instructions, it says you need one battery. It is called:

CR-2032 3V battery

...whatever that is.

So the battery you use is Energizer?
