my boyfriend's tamagotchi died for no apparent reason today (it was about 7 or 8 and had a baby, which would have been on its own starting tomorrow). we can't figure out what happened to it, it was pretty well cared for.

what i want to know is, when he resets it, will his items still be there? by resetting i mean through using A and C, not the back button.

 
That unfortunate, sorry annalenore.

Your boyfriends Tamagotchi, may have been excessively overweight, or was very unhappy and hungry. They are the two most likely reasons it would have died.

Yes, if you reset it your items won't be there.

Well, if it was me I wouldn't reset it. Because he has a baby that can now be the new generation.

 
yeah, the baby died too apparently, which sucks because our Tamagotchis had had babies together, so mine will be on its fifth generation starting tomorrow whereas he'll be basically starting over.

so even if he doesn't use the button on the back, he still loses all his items? :ph34r:
