I know one thing, they're fake.
Bandai won't probably release it until 2007 if they do.
But who knows, the next Tamagotchi could have a different name.
(Ex. Japan usually has its own name for its Tamagotchis. For example, En-Tama.)

My cousin's friend's dad works in a tamagotchi factory. He says they have a v4, but they won't release it until the v3s are going out of style. Plus, they are trying to find a new name for it. They want something more japanese.
