Ok I have one V1 Tama one V2 Tama and one V3 Tama none of them will connect woth each other! Isthis some sort of glitch or am I doing something wrong? Help!

 
Also I'm going to buy a new V3 so my other V3 will have someone to play with

 
If you connect a version one tamagotchi, a version two tamagotchi or a version three tamagotchi you must remember to select "version 1" on your version two tamagotchi and select "others" on your version three tamagotchi.

Also, if you are connecting tamagotchi out in the sun or out in the cold, the tamagotchis will fail to connect because of the heat or the coldness.
