SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

I was playing with my tamagotchi connection, and suddenly....THERE'S A HUGE X ON MY SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to hit the rest/download button...and everything was normal again....then...I went to go connect with my friend....AND IT DID IT AGAIN!!!!!! I HAD TO RESET AND DOWNLOAD IT 10 TIMES!!!!

AND WE WERE PLANNING ON MATING TODAY.. BUT EVERY TIME I GO TO CONNECT...SHE WILL COME TO MY SCREEN, MY SCREEN WILL GET THE X AND SHE WILL RETURN BACK TO HER SCREEN!!!!!

IT IS SOOO ANNOYING...SOMEONE TOLD ME I NEED NEW BATTS, BUT I CAN'T EVEN TAKE THE ONE OUT THAT I HAVE IN THERE NOW!!! (I AM SO STUPID)

you need a new battery thats all I got worried when that happened to me too go to the store they will take out the batteries for you or tell a friend to get the batteries out.
