Okay, I know a cheat for Power Palz!! I've done it before so I know it works. Here it is:
When you want to reset, hold the A Button down and reset. (You can let go now. ) You will see a black screen if you did it right. Now press these Buttons in the correct order: B, C, A, B. Now it should say 'V1.00000'. Now press D and you can connect!
Please tell me what happens ( I don't have two Power Palz).

I don't think you can get the pet back. I suggest you do this if you have two Power Palz and you are not interested in raising new ones. I know this cheat works, I just don't know what happens when you connect 2! If anyone finds out, you should post it here.
