Hey,

I tried to enter one of those "secret codes" into the shopkeeper's place so I pressed the "A" button three times in a row and instead of the shopkeeper having that shocked look on his face it beeped and wouldn't let me enter the code. Why did this happen?

It's because one or both of your items list is full.

Get rid of an item you don't need (i.e. trash duplicates) and it should work again.

 
I assure you it's real. I just had a problem actually inputting the password. Thank you for your help spudilike!
