I started them yesterday and woke up to find them still 0 years old. Is this normal?

No, hmmmm thats strange? They should turn 1 year after about an hour of starting them then 2 when they sleep and wake up (24 hours later) This isn't normal but I don't know what you should do about it?

Ricky, you got it a little mixed up, in connection, after an hour they turn into a child, and they turn 1 year older every day at the exact same time you hatched them, (Example) My Cloud is 2 years old, he will turn 3 today at 3:45 pm because thats when i hatched them

that's what happened to mine!!! i got it 5 days ago and it's 2! that's not fair!!! i don't think it has anything to do with changing the clock b/c i didn't for the first whole day and it didn't turn one then i started changing the clock and it still didn't age...hmmm bandai needs to fix this problem

You can't cheat to make them age I found out. It only makes them age slower or differenty too if youchange the time.

Hey tarepanda, your tamagotchi isn't 5 years old because you've probably kept him on "Pause" for long streches of time. When the tamagotchi is paused, his growth stops completely.

is it random when it changes stages or is there a fixed tim period to be in a stage?
