The best way is to wait until your Tama isnt happy, feed it some treats to get rid of them :mellow:

That is because your tamagotchi has too many items or treats. All you need to do is delete 1 item and 1 treat and then you should be able to type in the shop codes. :)

You're right. The same thing happened to me, and ever since then I do a couple things to make sure I can always enter codes or exchange presents when connecting:

I never keep limited-use items in inventory.

I always keep a one or two empty spots in my item/food lists.

Try those, you should never have a problem then.
