Blown away

The small baby awoke the next morning to a beeping sound. Suddenly she saw an angel floating above her. She knew her mother was dead but the angel was not there the night before. The beeping sound continued and the angel dissapeared. The small baby was plunged into darkness and all was quiet. A light came to the baby and shone bright as the sun. The child walked into it and felt herself falling. She landed on hard ground and looked around. It was a desert waistland. She cried out for help and heard the wind blowing. She saw a dust cloud form around the desert and herself. She was picked up and carried away screaming. Again she was dropped to the ground. But this time on something soft. The sun shone bright and warm, flowers grew everywhere she looked. She lied down on the grass and smiled to herself. But she stood up and started walking. A gentle breeze blew on her face. Tamas were walking all around her. She heard a voice yell "But my baby! I can't just leave my baby!" Great sobbing followed. The baby ran twords the sobbing and saw her mother. Alex looked up in shock. She ran to her baby and picked her up in her arms. The small child laughed and smiled with as much happiness that she'd never felt before. "Oh my child!" Alex said. "I have missed you so much, but I cannot let you go around without a name." "You shall be called Joy. For the joy you bring to me!" No sooner were the words out then a black mass sourounded Joy. She felt peacful and stood there. When it was over she felt taller. Her mother hugged her again, smiling. "My baby is now a toddler!" She saw that she was now an even bigger white blob. She smiled to herself and felt her stomach grumble. She went to get some food with her mother. But when she ate she ate a big piece pf bread instead of a bottle.Munching on the bread she asked " Mother, why am I here? I know I am supposed to go away but not until I'm older" Alex replied. "It is said that when a tama dies before it's time, he/she will be reset" "Reset means that the humans send the angel away that sees if we are alive or not." Joy Remembered the angel she had seen. Reflections of the darkness and the waistland.She remembered the dust cloud that blew her away to this place. "Mother." she asked "What was that great dustcloud that blew me here?" Alex froze.
