1. Profiles. Profiles are indeed dangerous, but are also fun. One of the pinned topics explains it best in this forum. The creator of that forum is right, someone could do a lot with location, name, and birthday. If you really want to give out your location, put your country only. If you have a good sense of humor, put something from a movie or something. For example, in the movie "The Wizard of Oz", Dorothy goes over the rainbow. Put something like "Somewhere over the Rainbow".
-Birthday: Giving out birthdays is a major no-no. This is probably the worst thing to give out. Make up a fake birthday or put no birthday at all. I noticed TamaMum's birthday would also be Tama Talk's birthday. Admin is very old, born in 1905 to be exact! Go crazy, just don't give out your real birthday.
-Interests: NEVER GIVE OUT ANYTHING PERSONAL HERE. No street addresses, phone numbers, last names, or area codes. This place should be STRICTLY for your hobbies.
2. Friends. Friends are a great thing to have on Tama Talk. But how old really is that person you're talking to? That 12 year old girl you met could be a 40 year old man!! No matter how comfortable you are talking to that "girl" or "boy", never give any personal information.
3. Chatting. You should never/try not to get into an argument with anyone. If that person is actually an online stalker . . . ooooo we don't want to go there. Don't let anything slip while chatting!
Hope this guide helps you stay safe!
