Kagura looked as if she were going to cry. She ran off. Kiro looked at Maylee. "M-M-M-Maylee?" he stammered, "H-how could you do this to me?" "Kiro! It's not what you think it is!" Maylee cried. Kiro just ran off to find Kagura.
Maylee got up and opened her front door. Koga followed behind her, but she slammed the door in his face. He looked upset. He walked away, hanging his head, gloomily. I don't think I have any chances at all with Maylee! he thought.
Yumi and Yami were Maylee's little 2 year old twin sisters. They heard the door slam. Yumi ran to the stairs. "Malyee's home!" she shouted to Yami. Yami ran to her. "Malyee! Malyee!" she shouted, happily. Maylee ignored the twins and rushed upstairs. "I think Malyee mad!" Yumi said with a goofy smile.
Maylee stormed into her room. She plopped herself onto her pillow. I don't think Kiro is ever going to forgive me! she thought. Not to mention Kagura! I kissed her boyfriend right in front of her! Right after her mom died. Maylee cried into her pillow.
Back in Kagura's house, Mitsuke was finished taking a nap and walked out of her crib. The door slammed. Mitsuke saw Kagura run up to her room, sobbing. "What wrong with Kagira?" Mitsuke said, confused.
Kagura sobbed into her pillow. Why would Maylee betray me like this? Why did Koga do this to me? she thought. I thought we were happy together! I feel so alone. I hate this, I hate this so much!
Mitsuke could hear Kagura crying in her room. She wanted to tell her mom, but she remebered that her mom was still on a long "vacation". More like a permanent vacation, in heaven! So, Mitsuke went into the living room to find her other sister, Amina.
Amina was in the living room with all the lights turned off to match her dark black hair and clothing. Mitsuke didn't mind Amina, but Yumi and Yami found her a little scary. "Mina! Mina!" Mitsuke called into the living room. "Mina! Kagira sad!"
Amina looked up. "Oh! I'll go talk to her, munchkin, don't you worry about anything!" Mitsuke smiled. Of all of her sisters, Amina was her most favourite. "I wove you, Mina!" Mitsuke happily grinned.
In Maylee's house, Maylee was still feeling sad, hated, lonely. But then, she saw something lurking around in her backyard. She wondered what it was, so she went to investigate...
