It was taking a bath. They sometimes brush their teeth too. Different characters do different things.

Just kidding. Some, but not all, characters take a bath every day. The shape of the bathtub depends on the type and age of the character.
You may also see them brush their teeth soon after they wake up in the morning, and just before bedtime at night.
