I am pretty sure that back in '97 possibly '98 Mcdonalds had Tamagotchis. Can anyone help me clarify this? And if so, you think they are worth anything?

they had plastic tamagotchi (not electronic) that you could barely do anything with... they are probably not worth a single thing. My brother had one and all you did was roll the screen and it would change images whoop-ee

Yes now I remember them. Yes they were strange. Sorry to bug you man I feel bad.

The only thing from McDonalds we have is the Tamatchi

key-chain. I didn't figure out it was a Tamagotchi until last year. ^.^

But a fast-food restraunt ain't gonna give you a $20 toy. I'd collect some of the toys

they have, though. Just for fun.

Yeah no way they would give good toys out. By the way how much does a tama now cost?

Yeah I really want to get a new one becuase my old one broke so I will try to find a good deal on it. If it's v2 that's cool too. Since I am off to target, what section are they in? Handheld games or somewhere else?

ahhh...

maybe you can just run around Target to find a Tamagotchi!

(thats what I did :( )

its hard finding a V3!!

I love Target!

why dont you buy a NintendoDs Lite too!

The old McD's happy meal toys were actually pretty nice. I got a set of them off ebay for $10. I keep them here around the house for anytime my nephews, young siblings or any small kid comes over. It keeps them from messing with my Real tamas.

They could have Tamagotchis in Kids Meals again :p , but I'm afraid it will be part of a Girl's Kids Meal. :(

Good idea Jiro. I am thinking of calling them first to ask if they have any in stock, see the price, and then go get one. I hope they have V3, but v2 is still ok to me.

yup thats a better idea! hehe :(

I can remember McDonalds selling them as well. But I can't remember much about them.

Does anyone have any photos of them? :(

My sister had one when she was young, and when I wasn't born.

When I got little older, I didn't know what the heck it was, but now I know, I still have it in the house,it's better to keep since there's not much more.

It's very rare in the USA.
