My Tama has what looks like a suitcase with the handle on its side and a big black X flashing. None of the buttons work. Whats happening??

 
that is a battery.your batery ran out.you can push reset then download and it will work for a couple of hours or atleast it worked for me.or just change the battery.

 
Thanks I will replace my battery...but...will I lose my Tama and everything??

 
My boys tamas batteries have died on there tama's a couple of times and you won't lose your info if you click on download not reset.

this is what I know for the V3's.. :eek:

 
When you download it you won't loose any of your information or anything, but you'd have to set the clock to the correct time because the clock will be at the exact time, day and month it was at when your battery died. So there's a tip for you when your battery dies in the future, you'll know what to do right after.
