I meant to start a log a few days ago when dear Kei was still a toddler, but I never got around to it, so I guess I should give some history, ne?

He was born last Tuesday, 22.03.2005, and a lot of the time I've been messing around, not entire sure what to do, but whatever I did must have been good, because he became Ichigotchi as a teenager, then Mametchi as an adult. I must say, he's quite adorable right now.

I can't say I've given him perfect care, because honestly, I haven't. I give him a lot of candy, but he's at the lowest weight possible for his stage, and I left him in the car when I went to the mall earlier, so I turned the lights off at 9:30 instead of 9:00. I'm not one to weep and angst over my electronic pet, but I guess I shouldn't get a real one any time soon, ne? Unless I get like, a rock. Which is actually an interesting thought...

Rather than going off on a tangent about my future pet rock, I shall post my stats for the night and be done with it:

Name: Kei

Generation: 1

Age: 6 yrs.

Gender: Male

Weight: 30g

Training: 9/9 (100%)

Type: Connection

Growth: Babytchi » Marutchi » Ichigotchi » Mametchi

Fare thee well!

Kei beeped at me earlier, but instead of seeing the familiar Mametchi, the screen was filled with none other than Mrs. Busybody, the matchmaker! I was a bit flustered and chose the partner she picked out for me without thinking, a Kuchipatchi. The fireworks when the lights turned out made me laugh. I mean, most Americans are all squeamish with talking to their kids about things like that, and it sneaks into their homes under the guise of a virtual pet. ;)

But yes, a male Babytchi came out of it. Cute little thing, he is, though when I glance down at them every once in a while I keep mistaking him for a pile of crap. Now they're both sleeping, with their matching ...Z's. xD

Nothing's changed about Kei today. I'm getting the hang of keeping his weight down as much as possible without much candy. ;)

No clue what I'm going to name the little bugger I start taking care of pretty soon. xx;

Eep. When I woke up this morning there were two poos on the screen, and the baby was sick. :( And then I left them at my mom's house when I came to my dad's, so I had to go and get them, and by then poor Kei was missing all four hungry hearts and two happy ones. I really need to care for my tama more. Ironically, Kei was better cared for when I went to school than now (I'm on Spring Break) because I woke up at 06.00 for school, so I didn't have the chance to sleep through his waking. I might adjust his time for the rest of break, but I'd rather just try to wake up earlier.

Dinner time! Kei and his baby haven't changed much at all today, though they might be a bit unhappy from earlier neglects, but all the hearts are filled, and there's nothing on the screen except them, so I'm going to go eat. Mmm, pizza. :D

Eep. I meant to log yesterday, but I guess I forgot. The baby hatched into a male Kinakomotchi named Taco. Somehow I managed to take care of him, and he was a Young Mimitchi when I woke up this morning. I've been basically neglecting him ever since because I'd give anything for a Gozarutchi, but maybe it was a bit too much; I just checked him, and he had a big skull that he needed medicine for, and his back was to me, missing all his hearts. :) I couldn't resist; I had to make the kid happy, so I fed and played with him, and he's got everything back now. I wish I knew how many direct neglects that was. I've left him since, let's see, about 12.30-ish, so that should be almost his limit, ne? Gah. I'd hate to lose my Tama at only G2.

I'll leave you with some stats. :)

Name: Taco

Generation: 2

Age: 1 yr.

Gender: Male

Weight: 20g

Training: 4/9 (44%)

Type: Connection

Growth: Bebitchi » Kinakomotchi » Young Mimitchi

Eheh... Me, forgetful, of course not! ;) But, um, yeah. Taco's happy as ever. Well. Currently he has three happiness hearts and two for hunger, so why not? I also haven't fed him a single snack since he was born. Several times I wanted to, but for all this neglect I figured I should do something, and it worked. I'd just feed him two or three meals and then play a game, and if he wouldn't eat or I didn't feel like playing a game I'd just connect with my brother's tamagotchi. Hee. -lazy-

So right now he's as good as can be expected, a cute little Young Mimitchi bobbing on the screen. Next time I get Kinakomotchi I definitely want to get a Mimitchi, and it isn't very hard at all from my experience.
