Ok do not put your tama on pause cause then it will take a long time.You can change the time to its bedtime and put it to sleep.Your tama needs you all the time so put the sound on cause you never know when it needs you.NEVER I repeat never put it in water ,once my sister put it in water and it started doing crazy things.Don't reset when it shows the battery is gone cause you will need to change the battery soon,you can't really find the battery cause a lot of ppl have tamagotchis.

I'm not sure if you know this, but if your Tamas batteries are out, take out the battery and put it back in again. Then it will work again! The bad thing about it is that when you connect, it will say to change the batteries. I would rather just get the batteries.
