Well, i now have 2 baby girls on my connections , and there parents are age 5, and 6? Well the "Half Life" feature has definelty come back from tamagotchi Angel, (in connection only) because today Cloud (Age 6) and Sandy(Age 5) had 2 baby girls! On ConnX and Plus, they don't have them till 3 days after becoming adults, with these they turned adults at age 4 and about 1 and a half days later, there parents! I do not appreciate this that much, because now i will have to say goodbye tommorow :(, but at least i will have there babies to raise, i may open up another one tommorow and try to go for the "elderly" charecter. Well thats all for now, i must say those fireworks were hot! lol, just kidding.

i think it's also starting to become apparent that the connections age weird... several people have asked why their tamagotchis have not gotten older...

my tamagotchi should be two years old today (OR, should be turning two later on??... atleast one years old!) but her age still reads 0! she is a child, and i have not ONCE paused her! she morphed after one hour as usual, went to sleep when she was supposed to, and woke up normally as well. it's really confusing. :[

 You see with Connection, (not connX or plus) they age exactly 24 hours after the original hatch time, so if you have hatched him at 5:00 pm, he will turn one tommorow at 5:00 pm, make sence?

P.S. Also, even though i have NEVER paused my Tama's on my new Connections, the ageing system dose sort of mess up, like sometimes it's and hour late to age, probaly due to this new system of ageing or something.

well, ive said this before on this forum, and ill say it again! BWaHAH! i think that the "half-life" thing you speak of is kinda practice function for the first generation, so that you can get used to the tama's functions (training, toilet stuff etc.) so that later on, you know what to do, thats what i think it is...seems sensible to me...but we'll havta see when your babies get older.

Hmmm... good point, but it might be confusing. For example, if a first time user bred them and realized that gen 2 was growing slower, they'd think there's something wrong with it.

But what if your a very experienced Tama Expert like me and i don't need to "get use to it" because i have been hatching them for 6 years, i think, BUT SEVERLY HOPE NOT, that they will do this with all of the American Tama's for now on, maybe because they think Americans, are more busy, and they want us to concentrate on school and stuff like that, but hopefully there will be people like me, who send the consumer relations letters, saying stuff like i really dislike the Half-Life system like in Angel and hope in future products, that you stick to a regular aging system.
This is usually how they get some of there idea's, don't worry bandai is the 3rd biggest Toy Producers in the world! (Or was it second) There not stupid, if they see people don't like the half life system they may stop.

We are now seeing why Tamagotchi Plus are much better....although...I have to admit the Connections were a lot better than I tohught they would be....and a lot better than Connexion...the Connexion just bites....

Here's something I've found on the ageing of my Tamagotchi Connexion and the one I'm babysitting.

Here's some info on what they look like first in case you're interested.

Tamagotchi Connexion version 1.1 (my Tamagotchi)
White with pink, red and yellow flames. Orange logo and black buttons.

Tamagotchi Connexion version 1.0 (babysitted Tamagotchi)
Purple with white line designs and picture of Tamagotchis connecting. Dark purple buttons. No logo.

Version 1.0, the Christmas batch ages every time it wakes up. Version 1.1 ages every 24 hours it has being unpaused.

Also, to prevent Tamagotchi parents dying, pause them at night. Or reset and download them when you find that just the baby is there.
