PROLOGUE

It was a fairly quiet night on a big hill overlooking an even bigger field. The wind blows, making the trees shake and leaves rustle along the dirt road, and the hoot of the owls flows through the air. Everything was peaceful, except for what was going on the fourth floor of the house. The house that belonged to a lady Mametchi, a man Maskuitchi and their two children.

Joan the Mametchi almost tripped as she ran up the stairs going to the second floor. She looked around for any way she could hide her and her children, a boy Oniontchi named Brad and a girl Ichigotchi named Lisa. Joan tries the doors as she runs down the hall, all of them locked. Finally, she's able to open the last door on the left.

"Kids, hide under the bed! Quick!" Joan whispered.

Then, without warning, he violently rips open the closet door. Loud screams sound over the quiet country side, followed by complete and utter silence.

"Okay, you'll be in room 480. Enjoy your stay, madame." Ryan said, handing her the keys. "Oh, and must tell you, the hotel is going through some major renovations, and June's always been a very slow month. So, there will be only five other guests besides you. If you need anything, I'm in room 264."

Linda held the keys in her hand and looked around for a moment, trying to locate the nearest luggage cart. Then, she sees a hurried guest pulling and empty cart. He stopped, and began to converse with a woman. Linda picked up her bags, ran over and quickly cart-jacked the man, without him even knowing. As she ran off, pulling the cart, Linda heard the man say, "Hey! What the...".

Ha! she thought, getting on the elevator.
