Well, what does the screen look like? If it is a flashing black X then your batteries are running out...but if it is normal then you need to download it by depressing the button in the back and selecting download.

I have an idea! 
Why don't you buy some tama batteries so when your battery in your tama is bad, you can replace it with the bout one! I hope this has helped!
