Angelgotchi strangeness

i have an American Angel. sometimes it leaves the screen but i know that it's just taking a little walk (huzzah for instructions on the internet) but when it comes back, it's lifting weights. does anyone know why it lifts weights? it's so weird and it confuses me.

I don't have a Angelgotchi, but here's my guess: It's just excercising more. ( I know, it's a stupid guess.)
