Came across this link talking about a "furry Tamagotchi" pet from Takara Toys. Looks like a virtual pet with a furry animal type case and a pen/stylus for interacting (instead of buttons). There are some screen shots here (in Japanese) and also Takara's site.

 
It doesn't look like this one will come out in the US.

It seems to have some sort of caller ID function for cell phones... Interesting. :wacko:

All sorts of fun things are released in Japan that are never meant to be released outside Japan. It's fun to see them though. :wub:

They look so kute!!!! :huh: i wish that i can get one. they look pretty hard to use though :D

 
It probably won't come out in the U.S.,I wish it would though!
