We are trying something out here on TamaTalk as of today... The Guides and I have been discussing a suggestion made in which we have a way of warning people when they do bad but not a way to reward those who do good. What fun is that? This is where the new Karma system comes in. This is still a test and may change or go away in the future based on response... But here is what changes you will see.

Everyone had a warn level that you would see on your own posts (nobody else could see it). The Guide Team was able to add or remove warns based on behavior. Now everyone can see each others level which is no longer just indicating when you do bad... But instead you can see if others have done bad or good. Want a warn taken off? Work towards getting a positive karma mark to remove it (no more begging Guides to remove a warn... It is all in your hands now! ).

What is the benefit? Karma allows us to reward those who are helpful ont he forums and the site in general. Also, everyone can see each others levels so you know who are the more helpful members here.

Let's try this out... Please report any bugs to me and list your suggestions or comments here.

Nice idea, the grey looks unkarmarish though, lol, but they are pretty. They fit in nicely. A fabulous idea - and set up quite well.

I think this is a great idea. Now people will probably behave better to get up their Karma level, instead of their warning level!

Everybody starts out with five grey/black boxes and when their Karma goes up one box will become blue and if you continue to do good things, you'll probably end up with all blue boxes!

if we get all karma boxes blue, do we be guides or what will happen?

All it shows is how the warn of a persons level goes.

It lights up as a blue box when you get a warn.

Get 5 blue boxes and you get banned(I belive.I checked out some of the banned user )

I love this idea,now we know how members are behaving,the more boxes they get,the more we know how they are behaving.
