My Obotchi gave my Paparatchi some makeup as a gift but when I tried to let her use it, a questionmark appeared over her head and then that was it!

It's still listed in my items but she just reacts the same way every time.

Does anybody know why?

Yes, you can only use the Make up if you have the Mirror which costs 1000p in the shop.

 
You have to have a mirror in order to use makeup. (OR if your tamagotchi is like mimitchi, then it will put on the makeup with the mirror but it won't show its face) Hope i helped
