Alright. Last night, I put my Tamagotchi on the shelf by my bed before I went to sleep. When I woke up, I put it up to my ear. It was beeping rapidly non-stop and it still is, but its asleep. I changed the time to check if it was because it was asleep, and it wasn't! I've put this up to my ear before and I haven't noticed this. Tell me if that's happened to you.

 
When you hold it up to your ear it beeps, but there's nothing wrong with it...without that beeping, your tamagotchi won't move!

 
Yeah it happens cause when I got a new Tama, like 2 days later it started beeping, but I'm not sure about the 2 other days. :p

 
its the clock in your tama. some people say its your tama breathing. its so cute!! :p :D :D

wow thanks i thought i was in trouble and i hope its not low on battery ive only had my v3 for four days now!

 
neither of my v3s have ever beeped like that, I just listened, there silent

EDIT: The sound was off lol I just heard it, thats so cute!

yeah, the night i bought my tama i put it on my dresser, went to bed, and realised i could hear this low beeping. It changes speed and frequency depending on what screen your tama is on aswell.

Its very interesting.

That's normal to every tamagotchi

 
People say it's the Tama's clock... it's not, I compared it. The beeping is too quick. I personally think it's the Tama's heartbeep... I love it! It'a adorable!

 
Some certain times in the day I hear mine beeping, too, and then later it stops. It's weird

no, it still happens even when you have good batterys also

it won't work unless it does that sound, it prosessing the tamagotchis age and time
