i was swimming in my backyard andmy tama was on the bench with direct sun light hitting it so about 30 mins later i checked it and the screen was all black! i couldnt see my tamagotchi! it was like i had my lights off and the icons on the srceen were all light up! so i bring my tama inside and ten mins later it went back to normal. ... what do you guys think happened?

 
That's what happens when you put it in sunlight. It's bad for your Tamagotchi. Try to keep it out of the sunlight. also, if you try to connect in the sun, put your hand over it because if you don't it won't work.

 
The tama gets ruined if you put it in the water! :lol:

SO be careful!

 
To stop it, put it by a fan that it turned on!

That's what my friend did when her tamagotchi did that!

 
Oh, this happened to me with my V2 about 3 days ago! I watched the black creep away... it was odd.

It happens when your Tamagotchi gets too hot. Either take it out of the heat and let it cool, or put it in front of a fan or air conditioner. The screen will be dark once the black goes away, but it will go back to normal soon enough. :(

it's becoz of da heat! just keep ur tama away from da sun and it won't happen! :(

:D yeah! its theyp of screen.like a calculater. u know like, the sun ones. that get them wrkn. do as they say n keep out the light.

p.s will it carry onebeing black ven after its better??? :D

No, because when it's better the black is gone. nothing too bad should happen to the Tamagotchi, so no worries. :)

just keep it outta the sunlight it is because of the crystal screen and don't put magnets by it either!
