today i bought my tama sum sun-glasses but wen i press a,b or c it wont let me use em'?? y no! i can only use the ball i bought. and also could i get clear dirsctions on how to get the golden tama??? thnks

you can only use the sunglasses when you are an adult. also, the golden tama is just a souvenier. you can't play with souveniers :furawatchi:
Is your tamagotchi a baby, or a teenager? If that is the case, you have to wait until it evolves into an adult to actually use/put on the item.

Once they develop into a breeding form( When they can can start marrying) they can use all of the objects.
