To get through your generations faster:
When your tama has just evolved into an adult connect to a tamagotchi of the opposite gender and when ye connect 24 hours later you'll have babies, exactly 24 hours after that set your clock to 11:59 pm and wait to see your tama go away, then set your clock back to normal time and name the baby. So you see it is saving a good few hours by not waiting for it to fly away itself. It also works doing the same thing when you have a baby with the matchmaker.
So you should have your character for just 6 days if you connect and just 8 days if you us the matchmaker instead of the usually 7 and 9 days.
