My two teen tamagtochi's just visited becuase I wanted one to give the other a boombox since she has 2. The wrong Tamagotchi went over and they both turned their back to me and above them looked like ufo's or rainclouds with a bar through it then they did the present thing. Were they mad? One time I saw something that looked like flowers above them but I havn't seen that one in a while.

 
On a V3, when they give presents, they sometimes have an animation come up before they give the present. This was probably one of those animations you saw.

Animations I have seen before they exchange presents are;

playing a computer game

looking at a window box with flowers,

looking at a beach,

looking at the sunset,

looking at the moon

looking at the stars.

I don't think what you saw is anything to worry about.
