They are that price becuase either someone wants to make heaps of money

I bought mine from the mall .. not that place .. but like I said, all the tamagotchis in that mall were $14.99

Those prices on that webpage are ridiculous.

Right now on ebay the lime green and the light blue(american version) are the rarest and most popular colors, so they are going for a lot more than the others.

I am kicking myself because I got my first connection from a walmart in a rural area as I was driving home across country from the byofriend's house.... they had all the colors and they were only 10 bucks! If I had bought them all, i would have made hundreds of dollars on ebay as a result <sigh> But noooo, I had to buy one (what WAS I thinking?) and only one....

Supply and Demand -- It all comes down to how bad people want something -- as a result they pay more. Just because something cost more doesn't mean it's a fake... actually, the reverse is probably more likely to be true. The cheaper it is, the more likely it is to be a fake.

So should I go ahead and consider myself lucky for having picked one of the most wanted an rarest colors in the conneCTion world?
