Am having a lot of trouble helping my son keep his Tamagotchi alive. Has died 3 times so far and it is always well fed and played with. What are we doing wrong ?? Please help !!!!

 
When the Tamagotchi is a baby you have to be with it constatly cause it will poop,call for attention,cry or get sick.

If you are not able to stay with your Tamagotchi all the time just pause it. To pause prass Aand B together, same thing to Unpause.
